Not sure if thats paint or not, but I've heard that you can now get plastidip that has that effect. Granted, its much more expensive and complicated to do than regular plastidip but it looks damn cool IMO.

I think you're right, in the flesh it has an ultimately matte finish just like plastidip.

Yeah, I just watched a couple videos from those guys (dipyourcar.com) and they do a really nice job. I'd honestly be afraid to do anything more than wheels because I couldn't do anywhere close to that good of a job on the full car, but wheels I could probably manage, I suspect. I haven't looked into plastidip a whole lot, but now I might do something just for fun.
